Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines prohibited behaviors when using Roadie. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

1. Driving Safety

✅ Permitted:

  • Using voice commands while safely operating a vehicle
  • Setting destination before starting to drive
  • Listening to Roadie's spoken directions

❌ Prohibited:

  • Manually typing or texting while driving
  • Watching videos or engaging in distracting activities
  • Using Roadie in any way that compromises driving safety
  • Ignoring traffic laws or road conditions to follow Roadie's directions

⚠️ YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR SAFE VEHICLE OPERATION.

2. Lawful Use

✅ Permitted:

  • Using Roadie for personal travel and navigation
  • Enjoying games and conversational features
  • Discovering points of interest

❌ Prohibited:

  • Using Roadie for any illegal purpose or activity
  • Planning routes to facilitate illegal activities
  • Circumventing laws, regulations, or restrictions
  • Stalking, harassing, or tracking individuals without consent

3. Account Integrity

✅ Permitted:

  • Creating one personal account per user
  • Keeping your credentials secure
  • Updating your profile information

❌ Prohibited:

  • Creating multiple accounts or fake accounts
  • Sharing your account with others
  • Impersonating another person or entity
  • Selling, transferring, or renting your account

4. Respectful Interaction

✅ Permitted:

  • Engaging in natural conversation with Roadie's AI
  • Asking questions and seeking assistance
  • Providing feedback on features

❌ Prohibited:

  • Abusive, threatening, or harassing language
  • Attempting to manipulate or "jailbreak" AI agents
  • Submitting content that is hateful, discriminatory, or offensive
  • Testing for vulnerabilities or exploits in a malicious manner

5. System Integrity

✅ Permitted:

  • Using Roadie through official apps and interfaces
  • Reporting bugs or security issues responsibly

❌ Prohibited:

  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or extracting source code
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
  • Introducing malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Overloading servers or interfering with Service availability
  • Using automated bots, scripts, or scrapers
  • Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities for personal gain

6. Content and Data

✅ Permitted:

  • Inputting legitimate destination addresses
  • Using voice commands naturally
  • Generating trip data through normal use

❌ Prohibited:

  • Submitting false or misleading information
  • Uploading content that infringes intellectual property rights
  • Spamming or flooding the system with requests
  • Attempting to corrupt or manipulate database content

7. Third-Party Services

✅ Permitted:

  • Using integrated Google Maps, weather, and API features
  • Following third-party service terms of use

❌ Prohibited:

  • Misusing third-party APIs or violating their terms
  • Extracting bulk data from Google Maps or other sources
  • Circumventing rate limits or access controls

8. Commercial Use

✅ Permitted:

  • Using Roadie for personal road trips and navigation

❌ Prohibited (without written permission):

  • Reselling or sublicensing Roadie
  • Using Roadie for commercial transportation services
  • Integrating Roadie into third-party applications
  • Mass or enterprise use without a license

10. Reporting Violations

If you witness or experience violations of this AUP:

Report to:

abuse@goroadie.co

Include:

  • Description of the violation
  • Relevant account information (if known)
  • Supporting evidence (screenshots, logs)

We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

11. Enforcement

Consequences for Violations:

First offense:

Warning and education

Repeat offenses:

Temporary suspension

Serious violations:

Permanent account termination

Illegal activity:

Reporting to law enforcement

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts immediately for serious violations without prior notice.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
